About Mitchell, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Mitchell is a small town with a great deal of heart. The neighbors in this city are proud to call it home and visitors are welcomed with open arms and huge smiles. The Midwestern charm of historic brick building and quiet residential streets gives the feeling that one just might have stepped back in time for a moment. But, the amenities are modern and you have everything that you need in town.  It’s that ‘best of both worlds’ feeling that you get from Mitchell. Seasonal weather, traditional and modern architecture, old and new… this town has something for everyone.

Mitchell is dedicated to its populace and their way of life. Full of history, charm and fun – Mitchell is small town America at its best. The Mitchell Opera House was originally built in the year 1906 and renovated in 2015. Now, the community uses it to host events.  Today, it hosts community events. This is a great place to pass the time in the cooler months when you may want to avoid being outdoors. Stay warm and cozy in the heated building while watching a musical show or attending an arts show.  Another interesting bit of local history is in Martinsville – a nearby town. In the late 19th century, tourists came seeking health spas called “Sanitariums” where they were told that they would be able to experience the health benefits of artesian mineral water.  In the city of Martinsville, you will find a large refurbished recreated sign which reads “Martinsville City Mineral Water” and is a replica of the original sign that was located at the top of the National Sanitarium.

The locals are always eager to support their community and one of the most important ideals in the area is agriculture because of strong agricultural roots in this region. Saturdays, April – November (the warm months) the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market is open! A family-friendly market which is also open on Tuesdays in from June through September, is a local favorite.
